Gornji Humac is one of the oldest, most historically rich, and most charming inhabited places on the island of Brač. With only around 300 residents, it is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a relaxing break in a beautiful, authentic setting. The village was first mentioned in 1184 in the famous Charter of Povlja (Povaljska listina), one of the oldest written documents in Croatian history.

Nestled high in the heart of Brač, Gornji Humac rises 420 metres above sea level, resting quietly somewhere between the sea and the stars. Thanks to its unique position, summer evenings here are cooler, calmer, and touched by a gentle inland breeze — the inspiration behind the name Summer Breeze. Even on the warmest nights, you will sleep peacefully in the village’s fresh air.

Here, nights are quieter, skies are darker, and Brač feels truly authentic. And yet, the island’s most beautiful coastal towns, beaches, and hidden bays are only minutes away.

Highly recommended. Staying at Summer Breeze was a fantastic experience. Nestled on the edge of the village, the property provides a perfect sense of peace. The hosts were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always available to assist with any questions or needs.The house is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which is immediately noticeable upon arrival. The living room is spacious, bright, and comfortable. We were especially impressed by the well-equipped kitchen – from appliances to cookware, everything was available, making meal preparation easy during our stay. The pool and garden area are carefully maintained and very tidy.

Very nice, private, new, good big villa with 3 bedrooms with 3 private bathrooms, and 4 toilets. Nice pool and private place. Living like private lux villa in save place. Very nice village Gorni Humac, you can feel life like local people. Best choice for big family or couple. Very happy, friendly, nice people met you, when you come.

The house is new. We saw it on booking and we didn't see any review but we gave it a try. And we did good! We were the first guests, 6 members. Everything looks extremely good - it can be clearly seen they invested a lot. We appreciated that it is very well equiped - we had everything there to cook - they had even sugar, salt, flour etc. Lots of ammenties also in the bathrooms. Another very good thing is that each room (there are 3 rooms) had its own bathroom. There is a big living room and you also have a small bathroom there. The pool is very nice and you also have lots of places to sit. We highly recommend this place.
